JC Smale Engineering has provided single modules and Turnkey solutions in the US for over 10 years. Utilizing our vast experience in the Heavy clay industry we have assisted several leading US Brick Companies with equipment incorporating the latest technology. In the last few years we have successfully installed over 30 articulated robots to offer flexible high capacity machines capable of processing many different products.

Some of our success in robotic applications has been the introduction of Artificial intelligence systems. We carefully partner with worldwide companies that provide advanced components and equipment to accomplish the most appropriate solution. The partners we select have the same desire as we do, “Ensuring the application is successfully completed first time round”. We also ensure that ongoing support after the installation is as critical as making the System successful during Start up.

We specialize in providing equipment to all sectors of the Heavy clay industry ranging from Forming equipment, Texturing, Multi-wire cutters, Robotic setting, Car handling systems, Unloading machines, blending operations and Packaging/strapping equipment. We also provide special purpose conveyor systems to handle various types of materials ranging from wet sticky product to hard abrasive items.

As part of our Company policy some of our work is dedicated to research and development to enable us to take that next step forward. We recently provided an automated stand alone device to Simulate green tumbled product. This new innovation known as the “SimTex” device can be installed to existing and new Extrusion lines prior to the Multi-wire cutter. The SimTex offers several advantages, one in particular is reducing the manual labor of hand setting onto the kiln car prior to the drying process.

Our experience includes working with some of the US’s major brick companies, such as Boral Brick, General Shale Brick, Acme Brick and Hanson Brick America.
